Hello Albert, you have taken the first step by admitting you are a sinner and recognizing the need for salvation. This is a major step because it requires us to humble ourselves before our Creator and admit to ourselves that we need His help. Albert, when we do this, it shows Elohim, the Almighty God, that you want what He is offering—love, forgiveness, peace, strength, hope, courage, and much more. He has laid out the plan of salvation in this way: believe in the finished work He did through His Son Yahushua, who many know as Jesus. Confession, which you have already done, and repentance—meaning recognizing that sin is evil, that it will take you where you do not want to go and cause you to stay longer than you want—are essential. Turning away from sin is part of this process. By doing this, you will be forgiven; however, it also requires forgiving those who have wronged you. When you do this, you will receive salvation and eternal life with Elohim, along with a friend through His Son Yahushua, who is committed to helping you on your journey home.
